I shoot normally with a Summicron 50mm which, I don't think is too old, but I have a screw-mount Elmar 5cm for my pre-war Leica. It needs an adapter for my M3, but shooting with that is so much fun. A different experience, and a different look to the photos. Your pictures from Mull were exactly what I'd hoped for, and as expected... a wee bit of homesickness followed.

It really is a different experience, isn't it. I had to look up the Elmar - what an interesting looking lens! I'm so glad you enjoyed the photos :)
